Carefully harvesting local sources of wild willows, dogwood, and grapevine in the early spring, Vita Bowen creates beautiful baskets and spectacular tree and vine installations. Since 2002, Vita has been involved in several art shows and also occasionally teaches her craft. Growing up near Georgian Bay, near a village called Walter’s Falls, surrounded by an artistic community and natural beauty has fostered Vita’s creativity in weaving as well as her landscaping business and fire flow arts.
