OUR STUDIOS

METAL STUDIO

A fully equipped studio with ten jewellery benches, four soldering stations, and a buffing and raising room.

CLAY STUDIO

A ten-wheel throwing studio with separate handbuilding, glaze, and kiln areas with all associated equipment.

PRINTMAKING STUDIO

An extensive collection of letter, etching, and book presses located in our light-filled storefront studio.

COLD GLASS STUDIO

A dedicated, fully equipped studio with an extensive array of glass supplies available.

SWING SPACE

This large open area, surrounded by countertop workbenches, is available for painting and non-equipment focused classes. As well as running classes in the swing space, GB Arts can host fundraisers, movie nights, quilting bees, dances, bingo games, lectures, events, meetings, and any number of other alternative events.

Teaching glassblowing classes through GBARTS has been an awesome experience.  I enjoy having students come who are keen to try their hand at working with molten glass and GBARTS makes it really easy for them to sign up for a class.

Kate Civiero, Infinite Glassworks

I always enjoy teaching workshops at The Workshop.  The space is absolutely beautiful and perfectly suited to creative pursuits of all kinds.  The staff is wonderful, and the arts community of Owen Sound is welcoming and vibrant.

Kim Kool, Edge of Grey Encaustics

I love running coppersmithing classes at GBARTS.  There is access to a wide range of tools and supplies, which makes it easy to plan and implement classes.  The students who take my classes are always eager and excited to learn new skills.
