PAUL HUNTER

Printmaking

Paul is an artist now living in Owen Sound. He graduated with honours from the Ontario College of Art in Printmaking and Book Arts. He is co-proprietor of Mammoth Hall Press whose work has shown across Canada and Japan. He is inspired by diverse sources—from John Cage’s use of Chance Operations, to the Korean Dansaekhwa movement, to artist’s such as John Virtue, Helen Frankenthaler, Ilse D’Hollander, and Callum Innes. His work is driven by an interest in explorations in mark-making. His work is held internationally in public and private collections.
