OPEN STUDIO

The Georgian Bay School of the Arts rents Open Studio time to pre-approved members (see membership details). Potters, jewellers, printmakers, and stained glass artists with prior experience may rent time in our fully equipped studios for independent work. You must have taken the prescribed course in your chosen medium or tell us about your previous studio experience to qualify. It is at the discretion of the studio technician to grant individuals Open Studio hours. Once you are accepted as an Open Studio candidate, you must take a 30-minute safety and best studio practices session with a technician before you can begin using your hours.

Open Studios are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to book specific times, please contact the Studio via email or phone (519) 371-2200. To nurture a creative, healthy, and safe studio environment, you must always follow the rules of the studio. Failure to comply may result in a suspension of studio privileges.
