Now you have taken introductory glassblowing, take it to the next level and explore patterning.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an offsite workshop at Infinite Glassworks Studio. 159 Pellisier Street, Eugenia, Ontario N0C1E0
. At the entrance to Eugenia Falls Conservation Area.
The studio is in the barn at the back of the property.

Take your beginner glassblowing skills to the next level as we explore different techniques to create a pattern on glass.  We will learn to use cane (long thin strands of glass) and murrine (thin discs of glass) in order to make complex pattern on our glass objects.  Learn the entire process start to finish, from pulling cane, chopping it into murrine pieces and arranging it in a pattern to apply on the glass.  You will get to make one glass object and can choose to make a cup, a vase, a bottle or a small bowl in this fun and interesting intermediate glassblowing class.  The cooling process takes a few days, so students will be able to pick up their pieces at a later date at the Arts Centre. Please note: This is a very physical workshop, the studio environment will be hot and you will be required to work both in sitting and standing positions. 18+
