Clay 2 is a 6 session course, Fridays from 1pm to 4pm, April 16, 23, 30, May, 7, 14, 21. Last class will be a glazing session.
Participants will be learn how to increase the size of their work while maintaining control of the clay. Bowl forms will be introduced. Techniques for refining and finishing their vessels will help to increase the success rate of their throwing. Trimming and glazing will be re-introduced and re-enforced. Maximum 5 pieces will be saved and fired.
Clay 2 is a pre-requisite for the next step, Clay 3. After Clay 3, students are eligible for Open Studio.
