If you’ve always wondered whether the world of glass art is for you? Than this is your class! Our one day course will teach you how to score and break glass, use a grinder, follow a pattern, apply copper foil, heat solder, patina and polish. You will create a two colour project from the following choices: picture frame, small panel, or sun catcher. Each will have fewer than 10 pieces per project. The goal is to complete your project by the end of this fun filled day. All glass, materials and the use of hand tools are included. Please come with an idea of which project you will want to create (images below) as well as your two desired colours for your project.
Closed toe shoes, safety glasses, and a sense of humour are mandatory. You may bring your own safety glasses or they are available for purchase for $5 to $20 each. If you have an old pair of nicely fitting leather or heat resistant gloves, they will be useful, but not essential.
