Dani Black

Knitting

Dani has found immense healing working with natural fibers. The mindfulness, community and portability of knitting have remained a solid, and cozy support throughout her life. She learnt to knit from her Mom at age 14 and had dabbled in felting, crocheting, and weaving. Most of her skills were absorbed working with master knitters at Three Bags Full Yarn Shop in Vancouver and in community with various creative circles. She is thrilled to share her experiences and continue learning.

Dani is honored to be living and creating on the traditional lands of the Anishinabek Nation: The People of the Three Fires, known as the Ojibway, Odawa, and Pottawatomie Nations. She respects and acknowledges the Chippewas of Saugeen, and the Chippewas of Nawash, known as the Saugeen Ojibway Nation.
