Audrey Armstrong

A graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design, University of Guelph, and University of Toronto, Audrey was a designer/weaver of wearable art and ran her own weaving business, Watercress Weavery, for over ten years. A keen student of Dorothy Kirk, she achieved her Master Spinner certification from Georgian College, Owen Sound. Audrey was a founding member of Maker’s, an artists’ co-operative in Owen Sound during the ’80s. She was an elementary teacher with the Bluewater Board of Education for 32 years and a presenter with the Monarch Teacher Network, leading workshops on the monarch butterfly and habitat development throughout Canada and the USA. She now embraces the opportunity to sketch, weave, travel, and explore this wonderful world and shares her passions through teaching.
